I created a custom thesis background with Flexo over at Consumerism Commentary (I also did the badge for Flexo’s great podcast.  Check it out here).  Flexo already had a custom background that was similar to the one I created, but it wasn’t optimized for widscreen monitors.  I recreated the look of the background (money faded and colorized), updated it a bit and made it a better fit for wider screens.  I think it turned out pretty well.
